“Two Shall Walk as One.” Finally… the new Site!
“Two Shall Walk as One,” has a new home. A new web presence, for a new time, and a new story.
Welcome aboard… finally.
Over 43 million people in the US are widowed or divorced. Thirty-percent of these folks are over the age of 50! All these people share one thing: They are alone. Because of that, many have lost hope. They believe the word alone will describe them forever. Even though many of these souls believe in Jesus Christ, they can’t help but wonder where He has gone.
Widowed at 57. Divorced at 64. That’s us. Done. Until God picked up two old rescue-dogs, scratched them behind the ears with grace, and brought them home. Again.
We share a miraculous, romantic, crazy, journey from dinners alone at the kitchen sink . . . to hope. Two people in their 60s dealing with real life issues. Dating, for one. Add to that the rebirth of passion, rebirth of trust in God, rebirth of hope. Then heap on pressure, failures, laughter, tears, and joy, and the ride is on. Is there hope to be found anywhere?
What does it feel like to suddenly become alone, in your sixties? What just happened… to me?
Buckle up and stay tuned to this site. Get ready to share and and join in the adventure. God bless and welcome aboard.
